We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Oak Hollow Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Oak Hollow Park
“Beautiful naturally wooded land with wide well maintained gravel trails, & wooden bridges over wetland areas.”
Beautiful naturally wooded land with wide well maintained gravel trails, & wooden bridges over wetland areas. Well cared for by Schaumburg Park District. Love how this small natural area was preserved to enjoy in amongst the suburban housing sprawl.
A wonderful bucolic refuge in the midst of the venerable Timbercrest subdivision. Trails and wetlands. Owls, hawks, deer, and coyote. Delightful. Please pick up after your dog--trashcans at each entrance.
It's good but they need to put a path through the wetlands because this place is too small.
Trail conditions & character
“Bicycles aren't allowed, & it is a great place to walk your dog on a leash, go for a peaceful stroll in the woods, or do a little bird or butterfly watching.”
