Has a real Red Dead Redemption feeling to it. Like you're riding into Rhodes or walking to the barn from the train station. It really is a great place to unwind and become one with nature. I wish I could've bought the chicken hat in the gift shop.
Going to Volkening Hertigage Farm is like walking through history. Volunteers keep the farm running as if it were still 100 years ago and it's really incredible to see. There is a homestead and a few barns. They have cows, chicken, and horses.
Great walk around nature, a quiet place to relax and unwind. Buildings and farms bring back the scenery from the past when people lived without electricity. Good place for kids and families.
We just attended Sugar Bush Fair ( our 5th year In row) . There are more events during the year. We also visit many times during the year just for nice walk.
