Confirmed from Oak Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with 2 play areas, picnic facilities, and botanical gardens, plus a planetarium.

I did not expect this beautiful park inside city. Initially I thought it is private park because it has gate that opens and closes daily. But I figured it’s a managed park by department of park and recreation. Parking inside park is free. They have planetarium as well.
The recent update to the botanical gardens makes this a good place to go for a peaceful stroll through a beautiful scenery. It's kind of convenient to a large part of Montgomery and right of the interstate.
I have been going to this park since I was a kid. I am now taking my kids to play out here as well. They offer 2 park areas to play and a lot of grounds to just run around. It has changed some over the years. But it is definitely still OAK PARK.❤️
Go for a walk through Montgomery Botanical Gardens on Saturday Morning then visit the friendly staff at the planetarium. Nice way to start the weekend
