Confirmed from Oakwood Lake Township Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park featuring a wooded 18-hole disc golf course, plus fishing.
What runners say about Oakwood Lake Township Park
I haven't walked the trails here yet. I stop in and sit in my car to relax, take a nap maybe, or do some work on my phone (nice strong AT&T signal here). It's a really nice and quiet place that sees very few cars.
Nice walk for the family and fun disc golfing. Paths are clear and with far less tripping hazards than a lot of courses. Very relaxing park.
There's an 18 hole disc golf course here and a pond with a new dock for fishing. A picnic table and bbq grill. The course is fun to play. Biting flies can be bad and paths are muddy so we wear muck boots this time of year and try to remember a hat!
Great wooded course, with a lake to view. First couple holes was a little confusing, but easy to follow otherwise. Had fun sand week be back.

- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
