Confirmed from Ogles Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Ogles Creek Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (47 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

There is a covered picnic table area and a grassy area. A short path through some trees to the left takes you to Ogles Creek. The creek is lovely, fairly wide with large flat rocks to walk on. We saw freshwater clams, a hawk, tiny fish, and a water snake. There is also some garbage and construction debris in the creek.

This place is honestly a hidden gem! The parking lot isn't huge with only 1-2 spots and a handicap spot. This is a nice little spot with a field connected to pavilion with 4 large tables.

★★★★★ — Christopher , Jul 2021

Stellar babbling brook to explore in this neighborhood park. The sounds of the stream are so peaceful. There’s plenty of space to walk around or just sit next to the stream on a rock if you like. There’s also a small pavilion with some picnic benches and 3 parking spaces.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
