We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Ohio River Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ohio River Trailhead
Good parking for the trail around Lunken, but be careful with valuables in the car. Our car was broken into on March 11th, 2025 at 1:50pm. Broken rear driver side window. Two tone Silver/Tan Van, shaved head white male. Be vigilant, hide valuables, be careful. There are no cameras with view of the lot.
This is part of the Cincinnati - Lake Erie cross state bike trail. You can walk down the path and they have benches viewing the runways so you can watch the planes land in the evening, cool little gem.
Nice place to start a bicycle ride and watch a variety of aircraft takeoff and land. The parking lot is somewhat small with gravel.
Good spot to start you bike ride. Plenty of parking. The trail loops around Lunkin airport and connects to the Little Miami Trail. About 11 miles to get to Milford.
