Confirmed from Old Honeycutt Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering a playground, a soccer field and tennis courts.
What runners say about Old Honeycutt Road Park
“Just down the sidewalk a bit, two well maintained tennis courts that double nicely as pickle ball courts as well.”
“Could use some shade though because the black swings and play surfaces can get pretty hot on sunny days.”
Cute park with a soccer field and walking trails. Picnic area. Bathrooms are far from park. Other then that it is nice. Hardly ever crowded.
Very cool little playground! Has chopped up rubber tire mulch color-coordinated with the playground color scheme. Nice to walk on. This playground had three cool slides and two rock climbing walls! Also had a baby-sized little playground. My three-year-old loved it there! Super neat playground!
A nice, clean park with good soccer fields, tennis courts, a walking path, and public restrooms. The big sun shades and covered picnic pavilion are excellent features. It's a great spot to bring young kids, just keep in mind that the playground doesn't have any swings.
This was okay for a sidewalk walk. The trail is nice and smooth but it's paved the whole way. That would be nice to bike or rollerblade on that trail. We walked probably three miles up a couple neighborhoods and then back. Otherwise, I didn't do much at the park, but it sure looks nice.
Trail conditions & character
“There's a public restroom near the tennis court and a covered shelter with tables and chairs beside the playground.”
“Could use some shade though because the black swings and play surfaces can get pretty hot on sunny days.”
“There is a soccer field with some small bleachers and a paved walking path around the field.”
“Nicely updated play structure, plenty of parking even though it was Saturday and kids soccer teams were practicing.”
