Confirmed from South Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“There’s a 1/3 mile walking track that’s great for an easy walk.”

This is one of my favorite parks in NC. It has a great playground, a fantastic walking trail, clean restroom facilities, and great colors from the trees this time a year. The splash pad is amazing, too. It's right down the street from the Mason Jar Tavern and great coffee shops and bakeries. Definitely check it out.

South Park in Fuquay-Varina, offers a great basketball court, playgrounds, a walking track, and a splash pad. Don’t miss the 0.7-mile greenway that starts at the baseball field. It’s a fantastic spot for outdoor fun! 🏀🌳

I love this place. Another one of my favorites happy places. I visit here often to walk. I haven't been this year. Last year, I walked around amd gained up to four miles, yes indeed, happy place, happy face!!

Truly a great multi-purpose Park and walking trail for the Fuquay-Varina Community. They host many events here, including the AFSP Suicide Prevention & Awareness Walk. The amenities and friendliness of the park’s design is perfect for everyone in the community, especially if you have kids.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
