Confirmed from Old Paper Mill Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Charming 12-acre park in verdant, natural surrounds featuring a paved trail loop & reservoir.

Such a nice park. Excellent sunset. Ample parking space. The main scenic loop around the water is 1 mile per round. Good for a nice stroll or running.
The reservoirs a beaut, up on top of a hill you can see most of Newark and UD. The trail around the reservoir is paved and flat pence you get up to the loop. There’s also trails that branch off into the woods on one side which are dirt and good for hiking or biking on.
The Newark Reservoir, one of the best places for a walk or a run or simply to catch a breath of fresh air. Though located close to Newark Downtown, it gives you a feeling of getting away from the rush.
