Confirmed from Olentangy Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Extensive greenway featuring paved trails through charming woods, parks & neighborhoods.
What runners say about Olentangy Park
“The trails are well maintained and the mulched trails are easy nice to walk on with alot less flying bicycles.”
“It is beautiful, well kept, very accessible to strollers and good for walking the dog on rainy or muddy days”
“The trail is mostly shaded, and is a wonderful option for walkers, runners, and bicyclists.”
Great walking paths and different activities available. Beautifully maintained and loved all the mushrooms I could find! Lots of wildlife to enjoy. Perfect place for fall pictures right now, and the trails lead to so many other parks. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys nature walks!
Great spot. I they have four tennis courts and 6 pickle ball courts here. They also have a skate park and river access. You can also get on the olentangy trail here and make your way towards the hills or head south and make your way all the way to Antrim lake or even the scioto mile. Lots to explore here.
Very pretty area. We did just short of 8 miles during our visit. Ran into some deer and did some geocaching. It was fairly empty but we did see a few other people, it was chilly during our visit. The trails were mostly paved, some of the smaller ones were not but were still clearly visible.
Great place to bike, walk, skate, or just explore. I've been going here several years as it's one of the longer trails in town. Good for sunny days too because much of it is shaded.
