Confirmed from Olive Branch City Parks & Rec's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular park with baseball and soccer fields known for a lighted Christmas display.
What runners say about Olive Branch City Parks & Rec
“Baseball and soccer fields a paved place to run, 4 tennis courts several restrooms (always a plus and clean).”
This park has come a long way since I remember it as a child. Very nice place to take the family for an outing with many excellent trails. It has a track and several pavilions with picnic tables for eating. Tennis courts and football fields are also available.
Nice park, other than 4th of July lots of places to park. Nice place to take you dog but they have to be on a leash & you must pick up after they do their business! Wish there was more shade on the East side of the park up on the higher ground & several water fountains for both people & pets too!
The OB City Park has always been really awesome and everything from the playground to the trails and the many sports fields as well all many events and activities that are held there and especially the sports leagues for children.
Beautiful Park settings and lakes that you're free to fish. The kids areas are always nice, they actually look brand new. Tennis courts and more than one baseball field. There is always someone walking in the morning or family having a cookout..

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
