Confirmed from Oliver Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Laid-back neighborhood-area option with baseball, football and disc golf fields, plus basketball courts and a playground.
What runners say about Oliver Park
“The restrooms were clean but did still have flies inside the mens.”
“✌ All in all, the park is very friendly to all ages and sizes, you can walk your furry friends too!”
Very nice little park trails, flowers blooming and bridges over little creek, around each bend you’ll see some tree carvings!! Groot, angry bird, minions and more!! Basketball court with eight goals and a great little playground and more swings and fun across the path beside Calera stadium!
The only park in Calera that is unexpected the very first time but once you look at it this way, the looks start to show and they become rather sweet almost like a well-written poem. They even have a little stadium for track or games going on.
Great new playground with a walking tract at the football field and a walking trail. Cool woodcravings. Nice big bathrooms.
Brung my bfs kids here to run around and play and my boys to play basketball. Family friendly
Trail conditions & character
“It's a nice place but they need more restroom stalls if they are gonna be hosting tournaments.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
