Confirmed from Oregon Rotary Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Oregon Rotary Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (54 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Nice, short, scenic, mostly paved trail.”

🪧 well-marked 3 mentions

Nice trail adjacent to drying lake with lots of wildlife. Be aware that the trail washed out in some spots from flooding and is currently gravel, wouldn't be good for a road bike

★★★★★ — Neil , Jul 2021

Awesome trail for shorter dostances. Plenty of small hills. This trail is not plowed in the winter, so it gets icy and covered in snow.

★★★★☆ — Weston , Aug 2025

Very nice trail. Most of it is paved. A few spots with gravel. Appears to be repairs. Lots of hills, trees and some open fields. Hooks up with some trails in Oregon, so altogether there are about 5 miles of trails. At the end of the trail in Oregon it's only 1/2 mile to Ziggys Ice Cream.

★★★★★ — Mike , Jul 2023

A great bicycle path through the woods you can use it as a walking trail challenging hills to climb about 3 1/2 miles long all of the acorns on the trail made for some interesting tracking of my bikes, tire

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
