Confirmed from Orinda Oaks Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Orinda Oaks Park
“4 stars for the picnic ground, but trail is not worth it — it is fire road under power lines, not very scenic and overly steep.”
Take your friends or family here. It’s a good treat. Start at the trail head and hike upwards!
I've been walking up here since I was a kid. Lots of folks out walking their dogs, nearly everyone with good mask discipline, seems like a fair number of people must be regulars because lots of folks are standing around talking. It's an old road, so you aren't walking through weeds.

Excellent views easy walking path and many off road choices. Nice place to take your dog.

“There are a few parking spaces on the lower level on Moraga, but many more on the upper level (just follow the dirt roads to the right).”
