Confirmed from Oriole Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This recreational park provides multiple athletic fields, playgrounds, a spray pool & paved trails.

Oriole Park is a very nice park with many different activity points for being medium sized. It has a very nice walking path that branches out to all parts of the park. Definitely a very good place for families, walkers/runners and group activities.
Awesome park! Tons of activities for kids, and it’s one of the largest parks in Chicago. From summer camps, to basketball and baseball leagues, it is a fantastic place for kids to grow up and meet new people.

Great place to bring the kids they have 2 kids play grounds 1 on each ends of the park . A nice walk way to walk the dogs . park is set up very well and has plenty of space for not being a very big park .

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
