Confirmed from Osage Trails Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious park featuring a playground as well as a walking / running path.
What runners say about Osage Trails Park
“very lovely park, well maintained and cared for would be five stars if the walkways concrete was better, it is a little bumpy and broken up bad in some spots”
This park is fun for the whole family. They have a covered shelter with a few tables. Kids playground has equipment for all ages. There is a running/walking track, that is about a mile long. I was a able to run a mile and a half with no terrain issues.
This is a nice place good sidewalks for people to walk fun and cool playground and the field is so big I like it its very spacious I'm coming back again
Small city park with a circular paved walking trail. It has a small covered picnic pavilion and a nice playground for the kids.
Pretty well laid out park complete with even mobile toilet stall (port-a-jon) if needed. Water fountains for the smaller 2 legged folks, and even for the 4 legged animals you may have. Yes it's pet walk friendly. A large gazebo near the entrance with 3 large picnic tables for your delight.
Trail conditions & character
“The only thing I would improve is the bathroom situation, that port-a-potty was gross 🤢🤢 and there's only one of them.”

“Open fields in between were flat and level for sports activities.”
“Water fountains for the smaller 2 legged folks, and even for the 4 legged animals you may have.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
