Confirmed from Raymore Recreation Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with picnic and play areas, plus a pond, skateboarding area, athletic fields, and disc golf.
What runners say about Raymore Recreation Park
“The fields were clean and manicured and the kids had a great time playing on the playground between games.”
“Good selection of playground equipment for all abilities.”
Our grandkids love playing at this park. The playground area is well equipped and always clean and they meet new friends most times. My husband and I enjoy walking and riding our bikes on the trail as well. Tennis, and basket ball courts, as well as fields for baseball, soccer and football can all be found here.
We were attending granddaughters volleyball games. We had about an hour between them and decided to walk the loop at the park. Great trail, it is a concrete paved, 8 foot path all the way around, roughly a mile and a half. We had a nice time, I was checking out the frisbee golf course.
One of the best places to play Pokémon Go! Safe. Lots to see and do. Great for long or short walks. Lil lake. Baseball. Frisbee golf. Rec Center. Skate park. Hoops. Tennis. Soccer. Full package.
Baseball, soccer, basketball, tennis and disc golf all within 80 acres. Rec Center coming soon for indoor basketball and walking. Great amenity in the community.
Trail conditions & character
“Dog owners pick up after their dogs, and they are making improvements all the time.”
“Great trail, it is a concrete paved, 8 foot path all the way around, roughly a mile and a half.”
“The other side could be just as nice if they would put down some more ground covering/wood chip alternative (whatever that stuff is called).”
“I was super impressed by the one playground equipment that is wheelchair accessible with a nice ramp from the sidewalk that goes all the way up!”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
