Peaceful. Whenever I go there is a lack of people and an abundance of nature. The restrooms are well maintained and parking is easy. ✨ very accessible for my special needs child. With an easy natural slope, walking to the beach was easy for him. Lots of open space for him to be him, without even disturbing the birds.
We love this park as it’s close to Portland, you can always find a quiet place, and it’s lovely. The park closes early and you can get locked in, but the fresh air, easy trails, and river make for a nice day. Dogs aren’t allowed, but fires are, so enjoy!
Our third stay. Tent sites are well-spaced so most have good privacy. Spaces vary in size so important to check footprint. Sites beside vault toilets can be smelly. Good hot water in shower room. Noted more PFDs available to borrow. It’s a safe, secure campground. The park is large!
Came here with a group for hiking. Glad it was the most easiest hike ever, it’s basically a neighborhood trail with some sense of outdoor. Definitely still recommend dressing like as if you’re going hiking, because of walking through plantation, plus finding your way to the lake, and lastly, sharp thorns One special…
