Confirmed from Oxford Lake's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Waterfront recreational space featuring a playground, picnic area and tennis courts.

“Paved walking loop around the lake with shaded pavilions and benches.”
Lots of fun. Several different sized playgrounds in a large fenced in area with one gate to enter and exit... So safe for the kiddos... Several shaded areas, splash pad IS still open and running.... Vending machines... Lakes beautiful and has lots of shade around it as well. We visited from Florida and loved this park.
We went in search of the Coldwater Creek bridge. It took a while because Wase took us to an entirely different location (behind the Publix grocery store) but eventually we found the bridge. This park is so nice, it warrants a return trip on a warmer day. Multiple pavilions that go out over the lake.
Oxford Lake has been and will always be a staple in the city of Oxford, AL. It is a great place to get some walking miles in and see nature.
