Confirmed from Oxley Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
800-acre park with trails & an interpretive center with hands-on exhibits & a wildlife viewing area.
What runners say about Oxley Nature Center
“Really beautiful place and great people.”
“The trails are well-maintained, easy to follow, and offer plenty of shade, which makes exploring much more enjoyable during Oklahoma’s warmer months.”
“Nice peaceful place regardless - would recommend going after a few days without rain though.”
“The terrain is pretty flat so easy to walk through with people of all ages - probably wheel chair accessible?”
I was out adventuring in the area and decided to check out Oxley Nature Center. Even on a cold and dreary day, what a GREAT place!! Lots of well-marked trails to hike, lots of wildlife to enjoy!
Great place to hike. Lots of animals to see. Very scenic. There is a small watch tower. Lots of trails. It offers one of the best nature walks around the Tulsa area.
Love this Nature Center and all the trails. Everything is marked clearly, with little notes along the trail as needed. There is an area with a tall drop off into the creek, as well as an observation deck over the pond. Very tranquil and the building has a lot to offer as well!
Lots of short trails from here. Any of the wooded ones were a complete swamp when I visited, but I still squeaked out about 3 miles of walking, met a pond slider, and got bit by at least 5 million mosquitos. Nice peaceful place regardless - would recommend going after a few days without rain though.
