Confirmed from Palm Canyon Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Palm Canyon Trailhead
“The huge untrimmed palms give this oasis a unique look and provide welcomed shade to the trail.”
Amazing trail with breathtaking palms. These trees are impressive! Great trails that are easy to walk in and very relaxing. Also great wildlife: Bighorned sheep. Lots of parking.
this is an awesome hike! the palm trees and water are so nice. i even waded in the water. with water shoes. super cool waterfall/cave at the end! very doable hike. i definitely recommend coming here
Been coming here since I was a little kids and still enjoying it. It's a pretty easy hike. There is some elevation change but noth8ng crazy. After a rain there can be a decent amount of water close to the palms and just makes a very calm and pretty landscape. There it not much shade so on a hot day come prepared.
Awesome canyon! Trails for all levels. Palm canyon trail is easy, shady and beautiful. Saw 7 big horn sheep
