Confirmed from Palmer Kendall Mountain Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Palmer Kendall Mountain Conservation Area
“Lot of pretty mountain laurel, the natural rock quarry was surprising and overall a beautiful hike on mostly well marked trails”
“Lot of pretty mountain laurel, the natural rock quarry was surprising and overall a beautiful hike on mostly well marked trails”
One of my favorite places to go hiking in Tolland, CT. Not buggy in early summer, encountered no ticks. Beautiful ferns and very young pine trees. Much of the hike is through a mountain laurel forest. Bonus: a stunning quartzite rock formation. Not difficult, though a little muddy in some places.

Fun trail with a stream/brook that runs through it, ridge with skyline view, rock formations and a Mountain Laurel forest.
We love coming here for a quick easy hike. Quiet and beautiful. Trails are well marked and cared for.

- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
