Confirmed from Palmer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Fields for many ball sports, along with a playground, concessions, picnic pavilions & batting cages.
What runners say about Palmer Park
“This is a very nice park with soccer and baseball fields that are well-maintained.”
Well maintained nice facilities. They had golf carts there to transport people to different area's in the park so you don't have to walk long distances if you don't want too.
Amazing ball fields that appear to be well maintained. There are so many fields. I believe I saw 12. I wish we had great fields like these in San Antonio. You are fortunate to have the facilities! Take care of them!’ The bathrooms were nice to have pre-race this morning! Close proximity to city trails.
Nice and clean fields. Home to multiple Madison teams and AYSO teams. Parking and driving through the area is challenging so be very cautious. Very nice greenway to bike, walk, or jog on right next to it.
Beautiful park and multipurpose trail. I truly enjoyed getting to run it!
Trail conditions & character
“I dislike the fa t though that the parking lot just left of the entryway has no direct access to that field there.”
“The park is well kept and the bathrooms are pretty clean.”
