Confirmed from Palmer Park Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Mountain-like terrain with trails winding through scrub brush, pines and cacti.
What runners say about Palmer Park Trailhead
“People with dogs could have more respect and clean up after their dogs but other than that it is a beautiful park.”
“Always a nice peaceful place to sit and reflect or go on a hike and see the beautiful nature that surrounds us and we are so lucky to live in.”
My go to spot. Always a great place to take the 🐶 for a hike for sure. She loves it here as much or more than I do. So much to explore. Far better than flat ol boring walking trails. The trails are also great for mountain biking.
It's a beautiful park. Lots of trails and places to explore. It's not your average kind of park. There is a very large grassy area at the front of the park where you can play football, toss a Frisbee, or just sit and read a book, and can accommodate quite a lot of people.
Such a beautiful place to visit, hike and enjoy a sunset. A wonderful view of the city within the city. A must do hear in gorgeous Colorado Springs.
Best views in town. Always a nice peaceful place to sit and reflect or go on a hike and see the beautiful nature that surrounds us and we are so lucky to live in.
