Confirmed from Paradise Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park featuring slides and swings, plus benches and picnic tables.
What runners say about Paradise Park
“There are several different play areas spread out that are very well maintained although on the older side.”
“Lovely park, it reflects the old long leaf pine habitat, along with traditional city park grass and paths and a beautiful gazebo.”
“The only drawback I see is that there isn't a good jogging/walking trail through it and with all of the huge shade trees this would be the perfect location.”
Great park for a round walk, large playground in the middle, all 10 minutes from downtown
There are several different play areas spread out that are very well maintained although on the older side. For a city park, Paradise Park is very expansive. I'd love to come out here for a picnic or to set up a scavenger hunt for the kids.
This park is so lovely! Our family often holds birthday parties there. The only downside is the lack of public restrooms- we generally have to leave the park for a potty run with the kids during the event.
Lovely park, it reflects the old long leaf pine habitat, along with traditional city park grass and paths and a beautiful gazebo. And there's adequate parking around it.
