Confirmed from Paul Boorman Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park offering trails for walking, running, and biking, plus a playground, and a dog park.
What runners say about Paul Boorman Trail Park
“It's a great trail, well maintained and very pleasant.”
“The path in the opposite direction was shaded by beautiful large trees and after only a short distance we saw that it was unpassable because the stream was out of its banks.”
“There are playgrounds along the way great for kids to run off some energy.”
“Mud and a bit of water covered the path in one direction so we turned around because it was rather hot and not shaded.”
“It is a peaceful place to just relax and enjoy the freedom I get when I ride.”
I accepted the 12-hour walk challenge today and walked all three Longview trails. I had no idea they were so beautiful. It was like being in another city altogether, since you don't see any of the familiar places you'd see when driving.
My son and I enjoyed our three mile walk this evening. The Paul Boorman Trail is very beautiful and the temperature was warm but still comfortable. And there were a lot of other folks out there enjoying the trail as well. It's a great way to enjoy the outdoors and burn off some calories.
I took a short walk on the trail. First time since i moved here. It's a beautiful trail. I saw some deer feeding not too far off the trail.
My son came in town and wanted to run a 5K and they had one at Paul Boorman Trail Park. I’ve never been before, but after seeing the trail that my son used, I’ll definitely be back. Great trail for walking running biking or rollerblading. Look forward to trying it out myself.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
