Confirmed from Longview Arboretum and Nature Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Garden featuring a variety of plants, a fountain, a pond, and picnic tables.

“God's nature is always peaceful and inviting and the Arboretum did not disappoint 🙏🕊✨️.”
I am so very glad we found this place. After our first visit we immediately bought the family membership. This is a lovely place to walk or run. So beautiful and peaceful. Very clean and a bathroom at the top. Plenty of shaded places for sitting, eating lunch, journaling.
Talk about an absolutely beautiful place! If you're feeling stressed just take a walk through this place; the water features and all the beautiful landscape will destress you within the first few steps. And they have great events at their stage back by the pond/fountain. The staff is also great.
Fantastic place! Visited with my family and had a great time walking around! I can't wait until my kids are old enough to enjoy the classrooms! Recommend!
Definitely visit here. The Arboretum is in its infancy and off to a wonderful start. The trails are easily accessible to everyone, and they are creating beautiful views for you as you stroll through the flowers, lakes, and trees.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
