Confirmed from Peace Sanctuary's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Peace Sanctuary
“Such a beautiful view of the Had great time with the group walk.”
“Peaceful walk along the Mystic River.”
Parking is on the road by the river! This is a beautiful place for walking. Difficult for a wheelchair! Do NOT bring noisy or boisterous children!!!
This uphill hiking path isn’t long - less than a mile or so - but the rest/observation area overlooking Mystic River makes this a great destination if you have a half hour to kill. The Peace Sanctuary is well maintained, and sparsely busy. Bring a book or a sandwich to help you unwind...
I really enjoyed the morning walk in this place. Got surprise when this guy posed for me❤️💕♥️
A hidden picturesque nature reserve without many tourists. Found out about this from the waitress at a local Thai restaurant. Pleasant hikes, awesome views of the river and a beautiful lake nearby (outside the property).

“We like the buildings, the trails had a lot of roots that slowed the stroller.”
