Absolutely loved the river trail, but also enjoyed the other trail types. Length was perfect.
Neat park just off of 27. The live oaks along the river trail are awesome. But beware. Parts of that trail are full of roots. And some of the branches are only 5 feet above the trail. So stay alert. Once you get away from the pickle ball courts and Rt 27, it feels like old Florida. Great place to spend an hour or two.
Another amazing place hidden away. Great hiking / photography plenty of wildlife to enjoy. Trails offer a bit of variety in terrain. Butterfly garden , viewing areas , flowers, and a community garden.
I really enjoyed the Happy New Year Hike. It was about twenty of us being guided along the trails by two fantastic staff guides. The hike was easy, well paced, comfortable, educational and fun.
