Confirmed from Pearson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly park for all ages offers trails for bike riding & walking, playgrounds & ponds.
What runners say about Pearson Park
“Clean, green, lovely little water way with fry sized fishes, water turtles, egrets, geese and ducks providing entertainment.”
“The area is absolutely beautiful, with the palm trees lining the surrounding streets, all of it makes the visit to this park a transformation to the 1960s.”
A lovely place for a walk any time of day. The facilities like the tennis courts are woven into the trails that weave through the park. It serves as a community center as well with concerts and programs for visitors throughout the year.
Nice, peaceful park with lots of shade and space to relax. Great for a quick walk or a chill hangout. Safe area as well.
Lots and lots of ducks. Our kids wanted a duck park, well, they got it. Of course the downside is those dirty waste but we had fun watching and waiting for them crossing the little path. We also spotted some squirrels hanging out with ducks. Fun! Collaboration!
This is probably one of my favorite parks to enjoy when down in Anaheim. It’s got a lot to enjoy all around. You can walk the trail next to pond and enjoy the turtles, geese, ducks & sometimes see fish. On other side you have the pool and basketball court. There is also a unique cactus garden to see as well.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
