Confirmed from Pearson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Pearson Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (163 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Nice little park just needs a little clean up around the water”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“Nice quiet park with decent sized pond.”

Nice clean and well kept park. Enjoyed my walk. And the weather was breezy and perfect!

★★★★★ — Ebony , Mar 2023

This park is so chill. It's awesome for kids playing on the playground or fishing in the big, beautiful pond, but be careful; there's a family of ducks that'll chase you if you get too close. They also have a walking trail, so go for a walk. Plus, there's a gazebo for a small get-together if you want.

★★★★★ — Brittany , Oct 2025

Great place to stop for lunch and let the kids run off some energy. Small playground, but nice little pond to walk around.

★★★★★ — Bobbie-Jo , Jun 2025

Great park with lots of space for kids to run and play. Walking and bike trails. Fishing as well! It’s a great park!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
