Confirmed from Pennypack Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice paved trail along the river. There are a few parking spots along, pretty well marked. There are available garbage cans but still you find garbage here and there, wish it was a little cleaner.

The Northeast"s beautiful park running from Pennypack on the Delaware to Pine road and into Lorimer Park into Montgomery county. Virtually the same park. A paved road running across the approximately 7 miles east to west. Great for biking, running, walking or a family stroll.

This place is a nice place to walk. I like it. If you're into walking around with a big giant stream to your side this place is for you. Bring your puppy, bring your special friend, bring your kiddos. Bring your pet alligator whatever floats your boat. Lots to do here folks.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
