Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“This place is a surprisingly great and quiet area!”

Great place to get lost. I recently got back into photography and the amount of wildlife here is very satisfying. My first time here I captured photos of deer, woodpeckers, foxes, an owl, eagles, hawks, and so much more. I spent over 3 hours walking the trails and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I will be going back soon!

This place is a surprisingly great and quiet area!! There are so many different trails with multiple different backdrop options. It’s so lush in the summertime and even nice in the winter. Great for beach photos without having to drive too far.

Alert: No pets allowed. I didn’t notice the sign so I took my dog for a walk with me until a gentleman kindly reminded me of it. Update 05/12/2021: Today when we hiked on the Cove Trail leading to the far side of the park, we found the trail was almost blocked by wild-grown Japanese knotweed. It’s almost everywhere.

A very beautiful park... We took the river trail.. we were able to walk less than a mile and the kids really enjoyed... It was cool and gave a great view of the Delaware river and phili skyline... We also went over the cove trail for almost a mile. The initial path was broad and well maintained..

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
