The hike is great except for the sandy and sunny 1 mile. Don't forget the hat! We saw several armadillos ;) Enjoy
The trail is well maintained. It has informational signs along the way. Part of the trail is very sandy. I only went about one and a half miles in.
Beautiful spot for the whole family including the furry Lil guys, hiking, boating and swimming alike.
Lovely route, through the forest with a lot of shade. It ends up in a more exposed sandy area. Highly recommended to visit when in the area.
