Confirmed from Spring to Spring Trail, Blue Spring Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly trail that's popular for hiking, cycling and observing wildlife.
What runners say about Spring to Spring Trail, Blue Spring Trailhead
“😆 (In case you got a phobia to cobwebs around in the trees), but the rest is gorgeous.”
“Very wide, smooth, well maintained and very friendly people of all ages.”
Great paved trail for everything from walking dog, roller blading, biking or riding your half E-Bike. Trail begins at Lk Beresford Park and ends at DeBary Plantation Drive for total of about 9 miles one way or 18 round trip. Get there early evening or sheriff will lock your car in.
The trail is simply splendid. Very pleasant to walk, run, or ride bikes. The experience of walking through the forest while on a paved trail just outside Blue Springs Park is a must do if you enjoy hiking. No bathrooms.
This trail runs from Gemini Springs SOUTH trailhead to Green Springs Park around the northern border of Lake Monroe. It was a nice paved trail with a few areas where one could go off trail hiking or mountain biking. I enjoyed most of the trail as it ran through the wooded areas.
I would walk my dog all the time but after he passed I haven't gone on my own walks to get back into it and enjoy life and this trail is an absolute great trail to see all types of wildlife.
Trail conditions & character
“Although it's short at 14 miles, 3-4 more miles can be added by doing the 'banana tree' extension and the loop around Lake Beresford parking lot/playground.”
