Confirmed from Pine Lake Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Pine Lake Preserve
This is a nice little hidden gem of Lee County. Not super well known and fun perimeter and interior trails. Not huge in size but certainly worth a quick hour or two hike to see the turtles and various wildlife within.
Nice little place. It's a good place to just take a walk and be in a forest rather than on concrete. The lake is largely filled in with swamp grass now, but the water is clear. You can't really escape traffic noise there.
All trails equal 3miles but in rainy season outer most trails under water. Good quiet remote trail.
Easy walk with wide sandy pathways. Trails connect to the Bonita Nature Place and Cullam's Trail Park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
