Confirmed from Platt Hill State Park Scenic Reserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Quiet, easy-to-access loop trail featuring picnic tables amid a scenic landscape.
What runners say about Platt Hill State Park Scenic Reserve
“Beautiful open spaces to run, one very easy trail loop with an overlook and picnic tables.”
“But it was clean, peaceful and pleasant to relax.”
Great place to hike and see wildlife. Tons of blueberries when in season.
Beautiful open spaces to run, one very easy trail loop with an overlook and picnic tables. No facilities. If you go off the main loop, watch where you go. There is currently very little maintenance of this park due to DEEP oversight and the trails are not marked.
Nice place for a picnic, or a hike. Easy to get to, but feels like it's in the middle of nowhere
