Confirmed from Point North Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Point North Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (136 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

This is a really nice and quite place to walk around and take a break from one's busy life. I took a bunch of pictures but haven't deleted the bad ones yet so sorry about that but I hope they give you an idea of what the place looks like.

★★★★★ — Daniel , Mar 2019

Great for kids with bike path and play structure . The best is the >2mile loop ideal for kids to cycle around and you can keep a watch asweas

★★★★★ — Padmakumar , Nov 2018

Great place for everything from family park day to solo workout. Park has nice parking, bathroom, playground, and best of all a 1/2 mile paved loop perfect for walking and running. Also a great place to park and begin longer workouts since park entrance connects to university loop trail.

★★★★★ — Hannah , Dec 2021

It's small, but it has a playground, a field to play in or walk around, and a simple boy& girl restroom. I like it

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
