Confirmed from Point Pinole Regional Shoreline's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Natural setting featuring an old black-powder-storage area, hiking trails and a fishing pier.

Enjoyed our Monday morning here. Very peaceful, relaxing and not crowded. Cool breezes, started with a sweatshirt and by the afternoon tee shirt weather. Certain areas dogs are allowed off leash. Please pick up after your fur babies. We walked along the shore and did the Bayview trail, 4.6 miles.
This park is an absolute must do for all hikers and non hikers alike. The natural beauty, striking views of the bay, and fresh air are stunning. Walking the easy access trails was truly an enjoyable experience. What a pleasure to hike and discover the senic views from all viewpoints.
Nice place to walk around, great views. Has a fishing pier, didn't catch anything but still a spot to try.
Beautiful almost shaded hike with lot of eucalyptus trees. Would recommend if you are in this area 🐱 cat friendly too

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
