Confirmed from Polly Palmer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular outdoor space featuring a running loop as well as ducks and turtles.
What runners say about Polly Palmer Park
“Polly Palmer Park has 2 beautiful ponds full with birds of many breeds, fish and turtles.”
A very beautiful & serene Park for those who love peace & fitness. I needed a place to exercise and found so much more at Polly Palmer Park. The park has two separate ponds that are interlaced by the same trail. The wildlife here is beautiful and compliments the serenity of the park.
Who knew this little gem was nestled in the midst of busy Ocala? The residents of the apartment complexes that circle off are so lucky! We could have spent all day here. Perfect for a peaceful 1 mile (give or take) walk, romantic picnic or solitary book reading.
