Confirmed from Ocala Wetland Recharge Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Educational water conservation facility, with 2.5+ miles of paved trails and boardwalks for watching birds and other wildlife from above.
What runners say about Ocala Wetland Recharge Park
“There is a huge pavilion with benches, water fountains, and large, clean restrooms.”
“Beautiful park with 3 different loops and 3 boardwalks.”
Bring a hat and sunscreen and binoculars!! Beautiful little walking trail. Restroom is located a ways from the entrance, but thankful there was one. Looking forward to watching this place grow in natural shelter and wildlife! We saw a few turtles and so many birds. A beautiful idea for Ocala!
Very nice man made wetlands. See some alligators, great white egrets, great blue heron, little blue heron, several song birds, turtles, coots…. Wonderful educational stations. Cool educational tunnel with cool art. Boardwalks are super nice. Path is nice around the property. Beautiful tress and plants growing.
Great park for a pic nic or a nice walk. They have some informational activities for children which makes it a good field trip if you homeschool. They appeared to have many paths gated off due to storm damage, but it was still enjoyable. Bathrooms are very clean. Grounds are clearly well cared for.
Great place to walk and relax the mind. Several path options from a short walk to an almost 1 mile path around the park. We spotted turtles sunning themselves and lots of birds. Still waiting to see the alligators!

- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
