Confirmed from Pond Parish's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Pond Parish

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (42 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Lots of trails to explore, and there were some beautiful marsh views.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Only hiked a small portion of the trail, but it was quiet and enjoyable for the most part.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Nice easy trail loop for a light hike or dog walk.”

Great area to hike, fun observatory platform and beaver dam to check out! The only thing was maps brought us to a private development to try to enter the trail. Luckily, we ended up finding a parking area on spring road to enter the trail!

★★★★★ — Cassie , May 2021

Pretty easy hike. Not very pretty in the winter with no snow on the ground. Lots of mud. However there is a lookout to a pond which might be nice in spring or summer.

I live on this trail and love to walk the loop and enjoy the changing seasons

★★★★★ — David , Jan 2025

Only hiked a small portion of the trail, but it was quiet and enjoyable for the most part. However, the directions lead to “private” road into a recently built housing development, and there is no parking lot... we parked on the side of the road next to a trail entrance.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
