Confirmed from Portage Creek Bicentennial Trail (Kilgore Trailhead)'s own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Portage Creek Bicentennial Trail (Kilgore Trailhead)
This is for the part of the trail that runs behind The KVCC Culinary Institute on E Walnut. What a great place to get my walk on. Mr Bear my dog loves it too.
Nice wide trail. Recently repaved. There are benches and overlooks to the creek all along. Mostly shaded. Frequent signs but they don't really tell you where you are. The parking lot is small but has actual restrooms.
It’s a paved trail through some nature that goes in either direction for a mile or more, so it’s good for all ability levels (bicycles, rollerblades, long boards, wheelchairs, strollers, and adaptable cycles) I love taking my dog here, just make sure your dog is comfortable with crowds, as it can be a popular spot on…
I love walking here with my dog and typically there's plenty of people and the scenery is beautiful.
