Confirmed from Prairie Oaks Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Prairie Oaks Park
Wonderful trails and a lovely play area. There's a parking area next to the play area, which is set back from the road, and the other sides of the park are surrounded by people's back yards. I appreciate when parks make it more difficult for children to run into the streets.
Best place for a walk all year round. Trails are kept clean. Very Scenic.
This is a wonderful neighborhood park! It has a "big kid" playground and a separate "little kid" playground. On nice days, there can be a lot of kids playing on both areas. There is also a very large open green space that is great for playing ball games, flying kites or just running around.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
