Confirmed from Bunker Hills Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
1,600-acre park with a seasonal outdoor water park, a campground, sports facilities & picnic sites.
What runners say about Bunker Hills Regional Park
“The grounds are huge, well marked, with most all amenities, clean and hot showers.”
“There's a full playground near a full outdoor dining area right next to the scenic Veterans Memorial as well.”
“Two playgrounds and a nature playground within easy walking/biking distance for our kids.”
Fun park. There is a lot of thing to keep you busy here. A play area for the kids will keep them busy. A water mist is there in the summer to help cool off and tables with a cover for the adults. In the summer a restroom is avalibke but in the off time a portapotty is available.
Nice trails for walking and biking. Very nice campground. Nice playgrounds. Activity Center. Horse stable for horseback rides. Wave pool for summer months (new heated pool will be open in 2021). Maps with detailed distance are posted often. Though somethings are not operating this summer because of COVID19.
We’ve camped here a couple times and it’s been great every time. Very clean campground, wooded, nice trails. Two playgrounds and a nature playground within easy walking/biking distance for our kids. The pictures are from the playground in the actual campground.
So nice. The rustic does are the best I feel. No close neighbors. And the returns were clean. Area was quite other than hearing music from the pool. But it stops at 7:00. Walking paths are paved and park looks fun for kids.
Trail conditions & character

- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
