We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Prairie Rock Trails Bike Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Prairie Rock Trails Bike Park
“Something for everyone - kid zone and pump track are very beginner friendly while the black lines present a challenge for experienced riders.”
Excellent bike park. Has a shelter house (with bathrooms), well thought out progression lines featuring two hubs, kid zone and a pump track. Something for everyone - kid zone and pump track are very beginner friendly while the black lines present a challenge for experienced riders.
Off to a great start. Lots of parking. The brickyard trail is surprisingly fun with alot of little features. You can ride to all the other sections from here pretty easy. The pump track is here. They are building awesome large jumps (see pictures). Evans Preserve has the best jumps and stuff for now.
My kid and I love the Prairie Rock Trails Bike Park! It’s built for all ages and skill levels, making it perfect for the whole family. A fun place to ride and a great spot to hang out.
Possibly the greatest mountain bike park in all of Iowa. There are trails for all levels. Recommend riding a DJ but anything will work
