Confirmed from Prairie Wetlands Learning Center's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature refuge and educational facility featuring wetlands and trails, plus a gift shop.
What runners say about Prairie Wetlands Learning Center

Beautiful walking trails a short hop off the freeway, and a minutes from downtown Fergus Falls. Peaceful prairie grasslands and wetlands to unwind in. Try to get walks in here as much as possible.
Beautiful spot of prairie wetlands to hike through and enjoy. Center is well maintained and full of great information. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable!
Loved coming here growing up to the monarch butterfly tagging. Great trails and a lot to learn
Great stop along the way to ND! We saw a ton of wildlife. Trails are well maintained. I'll definitely stop here again to get my dogs out on a road trip.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
