We had an absolutely awesome time doing the short 2.5 mile hike from Oak nut Trail to presumpscot Falls! Very kid friendly, until you get to the falls, then you need to be careful around the ledges and near the water! We also found plenty of salamanders and a frog.
Really cool spot with good views of the water. Maybe not the safest to walk during winter!
This is a lovely shady trail not very long but varied. Ghost kind of close to the edge very often so you really have to be alert.there is no indication when you get to the end of the trail other than you can see that there's somebody's house. There's a river running by it with rapids that is very pleasant to look at.
Cute little park near the river, nice short trails and scenic views of the river. Beware, though, the current can be strong. Take care if you try to swim. Also, no jumping from the bridge.
