Confirmed from Proctor Landing Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Proctor Landing Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (501 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“They have clean and functioning restrooms as well as seperate picnic areas.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Proctor Landing is a beautiful park with a beach and marked swimming area.”

Proctor Landing is a beautiful park with a beach and marked swimming area. There are picnic tables scattered around, with trails leading to them so you don't have to tramp through the woods to get to them (though that is still an option). Each picnic area has its own grill, and the tables are on concrete pads.

This is my favorite day-hang park! There are spots all along the lake with picnic tables, grills, and fantastic hammock trees! Swim at the sand beach or play volleyball or just enjoy the beauty of the lake. There are plenty of places to walk around or sit and read, draw, etc. Pack and picnic and get there early!

Great place to enjoy family. The beach is pretty dirty now. The old couple that use to run it kept it clean. I was there memorial Day weekend and stepped on a piece of a medal hanger on the sand near the beach. Definitely needs to be cleaned up some.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
