Confirmed from Promontory Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Always clean and a pleasant visit!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“Had our wedding at this park by the lake was absolutely stunning!”

This is really a pretty place and kind of Hidden Gem. Someone told me to come here to go fishing with my boys who are novice fishermen and they really enjoyed it.

This is a nice, quiet park to walk around, or to fish on the bank of the ponds. There are a few covered shelters which make for a good picnic spot as well. Something to keep in mind especially if you are bringing kiddos is that there is only one restroom which is a port-o-potty on the north side of the park.

This park has beautiful walking paths. My Husband and son enjoy catching fish in the ponds. There are portapottys here bit no running water. There is no playground in the park but its perfect for teaching a kid to fish. 🐟

Nice park all around a pond, crisscrossed with walking paths. I was there for disc golf, it's a decent course but not surprisingly there are a lot of chances to throw your disc in the water. Disc golf path crosses the walkers, but there is good signage at least. Nice place that doesn't seem to smell like Greeley.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 7 mentions

“Prosperous view of mountains depending on locations on this property.”

  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
